The Matinee Dress and Peplum Top Pattern by Jennuine Design

Well, it looks like the Indie Love Collection has come to an end. Today I'm sharing the final outfit, and I've saved one of my very favorites for last. I've been in love with this Matinee Dress (affiliate link) ever since Jenn made her original green versions for the Emerald week of the Sew-vivor Challenge last year. I adored that open back the moment I saw it, and patiently waited until the pattern was released this past spring. Unfortunately we were still wrapped up in the craziness of moving when the pattern came out, so I couldn't make one right away, but I knew it would be the perfect addition to my summer collection once everything got settled.

Ta-Da! Here it finally is, and I still love that back just as much today as the first time I saw it. So precious!

And wonder of wonders, Aurelia was even at her very best for the pictures! I think she's realized we're finally done for the season, because even though it was drizzling out, I somehow managed to get a few genuine smiles. Either that, or she's finally taken pity on me and decided to cooperate from now on...but I won't hold my breath on that one. I'm just happy to have some non-scowling pictures for a change!

Ok, how about just one more? It's just too adorable not to.

There. That's all, and it also brings an end to the Indie Love Collection for the Summer of 2014. *Whew*
A few of you may have noticed that I originally claimed there would be 18 outfits, but I've actually only shared 15, and you would be correct. Due to the recent illnesses and unexpected visitors, this collection has extended far beyond what I had originally planned. (Can you believe this was all supposed to be over halfway through July? Oops!) It's time for me to start thinking about Halloween and Aurelia's upcoming birthday, so I've lengthened a few sleeves, and bumped the last three outfits on to the Fall Collection.

Didn't know there would be one of those did you?

Well if everything goes as planned there will be, and I promise to keep it short and sweet since my summer collections seem to have a tendency to become rather long winded. I'm going to limit myself to 4 outfits for each kid and no more. Two weeks max...maybe. ;-)
