Now...

Happy Mother's Day!

I hope all the Mommas out there were pampered sufficiently yesterday, or at least given a little quiet time for themselves.
Ant took the kids out for the whole morning, and I actually got to sit and relax in total silence for a good three hours. Of course I used that time to clean up the bomb that had exploded in my sewing room, but it got me to wondering..."Why does Ant only take the kids out on Mother Day?" Surely this could be a weekly occurrence if they really wanted to show how much they appreciated me. Three hours out of the one hundred and sixty some I put in every week doesn't seem like too much to ask does it? ;-)

Project Life core kits, mini kits, and theme packs.

I did buy my own gift this year though in order to prevent the utter humiliation that was last Mother's Day. Seriously, if you haven't read about my naked mall massage yet, it's definitely a good laugh. Not keen on subjecting myself to another birthday-suit debacle, I decided to go a safer route and treat myself to Joann's half price Project Life kits instead. So much better!!! I ordered core kits in Blush and Honey, mini kits in Flea Market and Polka Dot Party, and theme kits in Boy, GirlLove, Theme Park, Great Outdoors, and Spring. They're all gorgeous, and I can't wait to start adding pictures of my adorable, crazy family!

What did you get up to for Mother's Day?
