Help prevent twisting by marking the “top” of your elastic before threading it through a casing.
Before I started doing this, I used to check three or four times to make sure I hadn’t gotten my elastic all
turned around before sewing the ends together. Now I know right away if things got a little wonky.
Unless of course I twist it twice, which wouldn’t exactly be unheard of.
Are you planning to do any sewing this weekend?
Are there any other Sewing Tips you think you’ll use?
Thank you! That's exactly what I needed to add to my mental notes for next time I sew elastic, save me time yay!
that is soooo smart! Thanks for the idea. I'm always making myself adjustable waistband pants because my jeans fall off me, so I use elastic ALL the time. I will have to remember this one for sure!
