1 cup softened butter
3/4 cup powdered sugar
2 cups flour
1 t. vanilla
1/2 t. salt
3 oz chocolate
1 t. canola oil
Cream the butter, sugar and vanilla.
Slowly add the flour and salt.
Wrap dough and chill for at least 2 hours.
Roll out dough and shape with cookie cutters.
Place cutouts on a baking sheet and chill about 30 min.
(I chill one sheet while I’m rolling out the next batch)
Bake at 300 degrees for 18 minutes.
Melt chocolate with oil in a double boiler, and dunk or drizzle cookies once have cooled.
