We Love Bath Paints

Friday, January 6, 2012

Have you ever used bath paints to keep your kids entertained for a little while?

I recently found a few simple recipes and have been working my way through a new one each week.
(Nifty trick: The silicone muffin tray floats in the water!)

They are such a great way to keep Reli busy while Ant and I finish our dinner, or those last 10 min of a movie.
(Don't worry! Our bathroom is right off the living room, and I can still keep an eye on her while she's in the tub.)

Then when she'd done we just rinse off the walls, and I won't even have to clean the tub this week!
(The brown water does look a little funky though doesn't it ; )

Here are links for a few of the different ones we've tried...

Maybe next we'll try making these Soap Crayons with the leftovers from our Christmas gift soaps

  1. How did you like the bubble bath paint? I made it last week and we weren't impressed...there was no visible color once it was painted on the walls of the bath. I guess I didn't get enough food color? But in the bowl it was really brightly colored! I'll be trying those other recipes you posted...they look promising! :)

  5. We have tried these in the past but have dark brown granite shower walls and it didn't show up so much. Still, I LOVE the idea and I have pinned this. What a great way to keep kids busy. I am a new follower visiting from Ladybird Ln. Vicky from Mess For Less
