Gathering with a Baste Stitch

Thursday, July 14, 2011

This is another one of those beginner sewing techniques that most of you are already familiar with, but I wanted to cover all the bases just in case. By now, even someone who has never used a sewing machine before should be able to sew this dress.

If you are interested in learning other sewing techniques, please visit my tutorials page. Also, feel free to suggest any techniques that you would like to see a video for. I have a long list in the works, but I'll bump something to the top if you are interested in it.

Now, tomorrow is the day some of you have been waiting for, we are going to make the pattern for the Keyhole dress. (Finally right?) Sharpen your pencils and dig out the ruler. We're almost there!
